Miss Brenna Hamski, Teacher
Miss Hamski is from Jefferson Ohio and attended Ohio University for integrated Language Arts and Reading Education. She is a part of the 21st Century program to help prepare students for their next steps in life, by supporting college and career readiness. Her goal is to spark student interests and to possibly reveal talents they never knew they had. In addition to reading, Miss Hamski enjoys cooking and watching football.

Mrs. Sue Hudson, Teacher
Mrs. Hudson, a native of Poolville, Texas, attended Weatherford College and Tarleton State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Education in 2007. She was a classroom teacher for 5 years before relocating to Ohio with her husband of 18 years, two children, and Yorkie Bella. She was Teacher of the Month in 2010 and was active as a Red Ribbon Committee Member. Mrs. Husdon is working for the 21st Century program because she enjoys assisting and seeing students succeed in education. She wants to be a part of her students' growth and success.
Her goal for the program includes assisting students in learning, being proud of their accomplishments, and assisting them with raising self-esteem.
Mrs. Hudson believes this program will help students become more confident in themselves, their learning, and increase their level of accomplishments.

Miss Long is from Carrollton, Ohio and attended Minerva Local and Carrollton Exempted Village Schools. She was a student in teacher preparation at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Akron. Miss Long part of the 21st Century program in order to stimulate and enrich her students' educational growth and development. She wants to be able to make a difference in every student she teaches.
With a focus on student growth, Miss Long strives to improve student skills through fun learning and interactive lesson activities. She believes this program will support collaborative learning through small group instruction and provide time for one-on-one personalized support.

Ms. Dawn Kaufman is a lifelong resident of Malvern and 1988 graduate of Malvern High School. She attended the University of Akron, achieving
a BS in Elementary Education and holds a MS in Administration from Ashland University. Ms. Kaufman knew she wanted to become a teacher since childhood when she spent her evenings after school, teaching her younger sister and neighborhood friends. She earned National Board Certification in 1999.
Ms. Kaufman is excited about the 21st Century program so that she can support children and help them discover learning in new and creative ways. By participating in this program, both teachers and students can benefit from educational opportunities beyond the school day, particularly related to project-based learning and hands-on experiences.
Along with Ms. Kaufman, her 11th grade daughter is enrolled as a student in the 21st Century program. Ms. Kaufman loves to scrapbook, walk, and spend time at the ocean collecting and discovering new and interesting sea shells.

Mr. Jeremy Maher, Teacher
Mr. Maher is a 2001 graduate of Malvern High School and serves his community as a Jr. High and High School Football Coach. He earned degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Walsh University and is a Case Manager at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health.
Mr. Maher is certified in Motivational Interviewing and Behavior Management along with being a Family Support Specialist. His focus for this program is to assist and encourage students to develop leadership qualities and become positive young adults.
Mr. Maher's goals are to help students identify and utilize strengths at school and for serving their community. He believes that students will benefit from this program by learning and applying organization and motivation to their daily lives. When Mr. Maher is not with students, he is with his wife who is also a MHS graduate, and 3 lovely young daughters.

Miss Townsend is a 2004 graduate of Malvern High School. She attended Baldwin-Wallace College, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Marketing. Upon deciding to become an education, she attended Walsh College and Malone College to complete the teacher certification programs. She is a part of the 21st Century teaching staff because it provides a great opportunity to increase student focus on academics and integrate exciting hands-on projects for student enrichment.

Dr. Angeloni is a 1982 graduate of Malvern High School and attended Kent State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Art Education; the University of Akron for a Masters in Teacher Supervision; and recently completed her Ph.D. in Leadership in Educational Administration while serving as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Test Coordinator and Summer ArtSmart Camp Coordinator in Savannah, GA for 6 years. Upon returning home, Dr. Angeloni was appointed as a Gifted Consultant for the Stark County Educational Service Center due to her 26 years of experience with gifted and talented students. She was appointed by the ESC to serve as Brown Local's Gifted Coordinator for the 2013-14 school year.
Upon earning the 21st Century Grant, Brown Local recognized the curricular collaboration between both programs and hired Dr. Angeloni as the 21st Century program Coordinator to start the new venture. Starting programs is not new to Dr. Angeloni as she has been at the forefront of 2 new schools as a teacher and founding Principal, established a University Educational Partnership, created an online Master's of Teaching course, and founded a summer Arts Camp Program. She is a University Supervisor for Student Teachers and Teacher Evaluator and Consultant.
Dr. Angeloni has devoted her career to inspiring others to be the best that they can be. She believes that "there is a shining star in every individual and it is up to educators, parents, and community to help students find their star so that they can shine brighter and fly higher in order to guide their own futures and provide light for future generations to come." She is honored to lead the new 21st Century program for her community and alma mater, where she can truly give back and lead other to be successful in their life aspirations.
